Jeeko Week begins in two weeks.

Some of you may have seen this on Facebook and Livestream a while back. Some fairy dragons =D Their wing patterns are based on those of actual butterflies. Painting the wings was my favorite part. I'm now going to have to resist the urge to elaborately pattern the interiors of my non-fairy dragons!

Finished the drake image. Ahhhh, deadline =X The background on this is very cheap, as I needed to finish this quickishly: An overlay layer of some of hibbary's lovely tea-stain textures + bunch of airbrush work.

I started his markings by basing him off a Picasso Trigger Fish... but with the orange on his beak and the complex patterning on his sides, he ended up looking rather silly. I simplified it and put a made-up pattern on his wings that drew from the deep orange stripe on the back of the fish. Sadly he no longer resembles the original fish
